Quante’ (Kwan-Tay) better known by his stage name QUANTE’ MR R&B, is an American Singer, from Baltimore Maryland.He joined the U.S. Marines at the age of 17 right after his high school graduation, citing that he needed to learn how to survive. After a tour in Iraq in which Quante’ was seriously injured in an improvised enemy explosive attack that left Shrapnel shards that are still in his body today.He was honorably discharged from the Military. He embarked on his music career as he was transitioning out of the military. During this time He was in Japan performing at several venues throughout the country. Upon returning to the U.S. Quante’ decided to follow the surging music industry to the south, and he moved to Atlanta Georgia.During this time Quante’ met Raheed “Reality” Bryant. An aspiring Rapper who also had his own independent label he took Quante’ under his wing and helped develop his talent. Quante’ started performing at venues Throughout Atlanta and was approached by Southern legend “OG Ron C” of Swisha House Records and Gin Pierce of PierceManagement. Gin Pierce Flew Quante’ to L.A. and put him right in the studio with the Legendary West coast Regulator himself, “Warren G” and Underground Texas Artist “Jokaman”. They recorded several records that were featured on mixtapes by Don Cannon as well as OG Ron C. Quante’ Performed at the A&R Power Summit in Manhattan New York, & won an Underground Music Award for ‘Best Male R&B Artist Of The Year” Joining the likes of Nicki Minaj, Machine Gun Kelly, Styles P & Fred Da Godson (R.I.P.) to name a few who have also won Underground Music Awards. Quante’ met Lance Silver Chairman and Co- Founder of “Uhatin? University” An organization whose mission is to “Make It Popular not to Hate” To uplift people and to raise awareness @ www.uhatin.org.
